The mediums of acrylics, pastels, water colors, calcium carbonate, with texture and layering techniques, which allows for the flexibility to discover the visual representation.

Rooted in a lifelong engagement with visual storytelling, Carolyn Quinn creates paintings that explore the tension between memory, emotion, and abstraction. Drawing on a background that blends formal education and professional experience in both creative and analytical fields, her work often reflects a balance of intuition and structure. Exhibited in group and solo shows, and recognized in regional competitions, Carolyn’s paintings invite quiet reflection, using layered color and gesture to suggest narratives just beneath the surface. Her ongoing practice is driven by a fascination with the subtleties of perception, and a commitment to evolving through experimentation.
